Session 2: Next steps after core data

This session considers how you can use core assessment data to identify potential barriers to success. By recognising the ‘flags’ (the scores that may indicate difficulties for a student) you can quickly prioritise which children and young people may require further testing.

It offers guidance on the best ways to develop a detailed profile of strengths and challenges for each student that can be used together with assessment data and provide contextual evidence over time.
