Using Tablets
Which Assessments can be Administered using a Tablet?
Testwise supports use on tablet and touchscreen devices using either iOS or Android operating systems for most products. Those shown in the table below with a tick have been fully tested as tablet compatible. However, due to the number and variety of devices constantly being released into the market, you may experience some minor issues on newer devices.
Some products should NOT be administered on tablet as this can affect the test taking process and the validity of the results. These are shown in the table with an X.
For further information see, 'Devices and Browsers' in Minimum System Requirements.

Administering Assessments on Tablets
Tests must be taken in landscape mode.
Each student will need a tablet and a set of headphones.
We suggest setting up tablets in advance, including modifying necessary settings, so that upon opening Testwise, you are taken directly to the Access Code screen. We suggest turning off spell-checker and autocorrect as part of your setup process. This is a requirement for NGST.
Note: For guidance on how to do this, see Tablet Settings.
