View the Reports List
Where can I find my report?
Once you have run a report, it is saved in Testwise to allow users to view it again. In Insights and Reports you will find:
Downloaded Reports: Previously generated PDF, Excel and PowerPoint reports.
Interactive Reports: Previously generated online interactive reports.
Downloaded Reports
To view Downloaded Reports:
Click Insights and Reports
on the Testwise home screen. This will display a number of reporting options.
Click View reports
under 'Downloaded Reports' to view previously generated PDF and Excel reports.
View details of each report by examining the information in each column. Report details will include:
Report Name
When a report was created.
The product(s) the report is based on.
The report type.
The number of students whose data is used to create the report.
Report Author.
If required, use the Search Bar
to search for a specific report by name. You can also use the ascending/descending order arrows in the headings column to sort the list.
Click Download
if you wish to download a copy of a specific report onto your local drive. The downloaded report will be a copy of the original PDF/Excel/PowerPoint, as it was at the point when it was generated. Any updates made to the data will not be reflected in the downloaded file.
Note: The report format is dependent on the report type.
Interactive Reports
An Interactive Report allows users to continue resorting and amending results data to show results in the most useful way for multiple purposes. There are additionally helpful 'hover over' glossary pointers, with the ability to identify specific students within a large group and refine results within the report.
Interactive Reports can only be accessed by users of Testwise and cannot be shared outside the platform. A Create/Print PDF option allows for a PDF version of the report to be saved or printed, where it can be distributed to non-Testwise users.
To View an Interactive Report:
Click Insights and Reports
on the Testwise home screen. This will display a number of reporting options.
Click View reports
under 'Interactive Reports' to view previously created online reports.
If required, use the Search Bar
to find the required Interactive Report. You can also use the ascending/descending order arrows in the headings column to sort the list.
To view an Interactive Report, click View
in the row of the report you wish to view. This will display the Interactive Report in a new tab.
Note: Interactive Reports (HTML reports) re-run each time they are used. If scores have been amended since the last usage the score will be updated in the report when it is reloaded. For example, if the date of birth has been corrected for a student, this will change the score(s), which will be updated when the report is reloaded.
How to delete reports
If required, you can delete previously generated reports. You can delete reports from the Downloaded Reports list (in both a single school or multi school account) or from the Interactive Reports list. You may wish to delete a report if it was created in error or if the report is no longer required and removing it would make the list more manageable.
There are two methods that can be used to delete previously generated reports.
The following method is useful if multiple reports need deleting at once, but note that User permissions will determine the reports that can be deleted:
Click the checkbox
to the left of the report name to select a report.
Note: The checkbox will turn purple with a tick when selected.
Click Delete
once you have selected the report(s) to be deleted.
Click Delete
again on the pop-up to confirm the process of deleting the selected report(s).
Alternatively, you can delete reports using the following method:
Find the report that you wish to delete.
Click the Bin icon
in the 'Action' column once the report that you want to delete has been identified.
Click Delete
on the pop-up to confirm the process of deleting the selected report.
Note: Deleted reports will no longer be accessible, however you can re-create the reports using the standard report flow. Deleting Interactive Reports will also remove any corresponding documents in the "Download" section on the system.
