Working with parents
The supporting language at home videos can be used with parents via parenting sessions, language support classes, training workshops etc. The video clips show strategies for modelling good language in the home environment.
The activities in the Big Book of Ideas can be shared digitally or printed/photocopied for parents. Creating a quick video in the setting of how to do the activity can be really helpful for parents to follow. You can also make suggestions of variations to the activity for future practice.
