Arabic Verbal Reasoning Trial 2022
The Arabic Verbal Reasoning Trial 2022
Registration now open
This year GL Education will be conducting a trial of verbal reasoning items which have been developed in Arabic to assess students' verbal reasoning skills in Arabic. It is essential that we trial each of the items to ensure they measure students accurately and could be used in a live assessment.
We are looking for students in grades 1 to 12 to take part in our autumn 2022 trial. The digital test can be taken on iPad, tablet, Chromebook and PC and will take around 1 hour to complete.
What is Arabic Verbal Reasoning?
Verbal reasoning questions assess reasoning ability with words which represent objects or concepts. Scores in verbal reasoning usually reflect students' ability to use words as a medium of thought. The trial does require some reading ability to be able to understand the questions. Whilst reading skills are not the basis of the assessment itself, general verbal and word knowledge form part of the assessment.
When is the trial taking place?
The trial is taking place from 26th September to 14th October 2022 in the UAE. We are recruiting schools from 13th June 2022 and recommend early registration as we have limited spaces. We are really keen to accommodate as many schools as we can. If you have any queries about the trial, please get in touch with [email protected] or your account manager if you have any queries.
